Kara Doan

Kara is committed to serving our clients at the highest level, while managing the operations of the office.  She pays attention to detail, is willing to take the time to get it right the first time, and she is passionate about building long-term relationships with our clients.

Kara brings with her 14 years of industry experience while holding roles as a sales assistant, in administration, in sales, and as a junior partner.  She began her career at Prudential Securities in 1993, then spent time at Merrill Lynch, RBC Wealth Management, and Piper Jaffray.  She then took time off while raising her daughter, Lauren, and volunteering extensively in her schools.

She is a native Oregonian, and after spending time in her early childhood moving around the country, Kara’s family moved back to Portland and she never left.  She attended Portland State University and lives in Tigard with her husband, Jason.  Outside of the office, Kara continues to volunteer in the community, enjoys playing golf with her family, travels, and watches a lot of soccer.  Go Timbers and Thorns!
